The new MSI product is a spin off of the Wind but in a desktop mode. The announcement of the desktop, follows closely with EEE PC and thier desktop counterpart. Here are some pics of the desktop. Here the desktop is upside down, the motherboard featuring Intel Atom processor at 1.33 Ghz. The hole at the bottom is for the DVD drive. The only thing missing is a HDD, but it does have to power connectors so one might go in the empty space. To read more on the MSI Wind Desktop and for benchmarks of the Atom CPU click down below:
The desktop looks a little Wii-ish but from this angle you can see a DVD drive, mic in, audio out, two USB's, and a 4 in 1 card reader.
Here is the back of the mini tower (if you can even call it that) which has all the audio jacks, (very surprising) four USB's, an ethernet port, VGA out, and a fan to keep the Atom CPU from getting hot.

Here are a few new pics of the Wind Click the link below for more detail
The vent holes give away the chance of the Wind to run cool, the curve is really nice for a subnotebook that costs $550 dollars, looks like Apple
Atom finally is around the corner
Since this is a prototype, we'll give MSI another chance with the right Windows version
Looks like a good case for the Wind, alot better than the EEE PC sleeve
Nice bright display
Keyboard shows big spaces between keys, MSI could have done better
Windows XP looks good on the 10" display, but the trackpad looks a little out of proportion...plus to add the little one button right and left click, just like the EEE PC
CHW Hands-On
There will be two MSI Wind models an 8.9" model and a 10" model. The 8.9" model will NOT be available for retail in the United States, so I will focus on the 10" model. The MSI Wind will be in four colors including white, silver, black, and pink. There will be two operating systems which are Novel SUSE Linux and Windows XP Home Edition. The demensions of the MSI Wind are 10.23 × 7.08 × 0.748 inches. The specifications differ from the Linux to the XP model so here they are. MCI Wind with Novel SUSE Linux MSI Wind with Windows XP Home Edition I will continue to update specs once they are fully released
